Charitable Giving & Grants

Patient-Centric Charitable Contributions and Sponsorships

We support efforts that promote disease education and awareness, as well as improve health access and outcomes. We consider grant requests from non-profit organizations that align with these focus areas:

United States

  • Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma
  • Dermatomyositis/Polymyositis
  • Hepatic Renal Syndrome – AKI / End-stage Renal Disease
  • Infantile Spasms
  • Inflammatory Eye Disease

  • Disease state education programs such as patient conferences, expos, briefings

Community Giving Program

Mallinckrodt’s Community Giving Program aims to make a positive impact within the communities we serve. Our grant program covers diverse focus areas, including but not limited to education, community health and wellness, and environmental sustainability.

To stay aligned with our goals and priorities, the Community Giving Program operates on an invitation-only basis. We extend invitations to organizations that share our commitment to the community and embody our core values. Unsolicited requests are not considered.

Corporate Memberships

Mallinckrodt will consider support for corporate membership with professional, patient or other healthcare organizations. This membership must be open to other industry partners and the available levels of membership must be listed with the associated benefits.

A Culture of Giving Back

Mallinckrodt recognizes the importance of employee community involvement to our corporate citizenship efforts. Through our matching gift and employee volunteer program, we encourage and reward employees who personally contribute their time and money to causes.

U.S. Matching Gift Program. To encourage charitable giving, Mallinckrodt will match employees’ donations to eligible nonprofit organizations – up to $2,500 per employee, per calendar year.

Employee Volunteering. Mallinckrodt provides eight hours of paid time off to eligible employees annually for qualified volunteer activities, in addition to time off to participate in our Global Month of Service.

 

Mallinckrodt is committed to transparency in its interactions with healthcare professionals and health care organizations/institutions consistent with applicable laws and/or codes relating to the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, Mallinckrodt will not provide healthcare related charitable contributions or corporate memberships funding for support of entertainment, social events, or any other types of expenses prohibited under state gift ban laws, the PhRMA Code of Ethics for Interactions with Health Care Professionals or EFPIA.

Funding requests will not be considered from organizations that discriminate based on race, color, creed, gender, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity.
